Behind my smiles

Behind my smiles  

behind my smiles
are sadness
my life is funny
but not much of anything interesting
things do happen
maybe not too often
but they change my world
some bring joy
most make me feel like i don't belong
we all do pray
and we all do hope as we wait
times are hard
as they can be good and smooth
how heroes,our saviors are far
the one in us,lost
we can only stand to fight
the fight of faith
that determines our fate
