Life is like a river

Life is like a river,
In the beginning,
It bubbles a lot,
As if forever.

A child also thinks,
He or she,
Can live forever,
They think life’s a crystal stair.

Then the river slows,
as life reaches its lows,
and of course,
it’s highs.

It then becomes smooth,
when we become lazy,
then it feels as if it’s not moving
that’s is our old age

Then it goes out
into the ocean just like
us, going up
into the heavens.

Savor every moment
as the wind blows in your hair
when one life ends
another begins.

Life is a ride
it goes up and down
and sometimes you have to run
or turn around
so many things happen
a lot of drama to take
but we live through it
leaving behind each mistake
you bought yourself a ticket
and now you’re on the ride
so make the best of it
don’t jump off the side
so put on a smile
you’ll survive a bump on the way
and then you’ll be shooting up again
because that’s the price you have to pay

I would pray the Time to stand still,

I request the Lord to have mercy on me

So that I shall grab out all the rapturous fantasies

Oh! Time be slow for you are the greatest healer of life,

I wish and love to do all these things

What we call life

It’s a funny thing,
What we call life,
It gives us trouble,
It causes strife.

It makes us laugh,
It makes us cry,
Yet all we do,
Is stress and try.

To make it through,
Surpass Our frowns,
To make it past,
Life is ups and downs.

We don’t have a choice,
To stay or to go,
Were here for a while,
Is all that we know.

So however hard,
When there is no fun,
Sit back and remember,
We only get one.

Sheath of  life fleeting

Was walking down memory lane,
Was walking on the beach,
Throttling the feelings of pain,
Keeping doubts out of reach.

Had a look at the sands of time
The hours when time itself stood still,
Could hear distant bells chime,
And I was walking while I still stood still.

Felt the heat of the sun beating,
Could sense an awe that the past left,
Saw the sheath of life fleeting,
Glimpses of what was there were best.

Life has its beginning
Like a book or a story that there’s an ending
For eternal life is always waiting
To end those pains and sufferings.

It made me remember
When I still had my grandfather
Who was there for me when I needed care
And wakes me up in the midst of nightmare.

Years had passed and his strength was finally over
Day by day his knees were getting weaker
Until one day he couldn’t land his feet
It only shows how life is so swift.

From dark hair to gray
Not knowing that his birthday would be also his last day
I have nothing to do but to pray
That God will find a way to be with him again someday.

Or tried to pick up the pieces but,

They make just one giant mess?

Have you ever wished to die?

We get up early
And behold the sight
 The daily routine we follow
Each task never to be left hollow
Strive to achieve in a fashion
That will just prove your passion

It's like we've been through life's little wars
